Carrick Hill Wedding | Claire & Glen

Claire and Glen married at the gorgeous Carrick Hill set in the foothills at Springfield. The heritage house with it’s expansive gardens with views over the city is a lovely wedding venue. I have had the pleasure to get to know Claire and Glen quite well over the past few years. I’ve photographed Claire’s best friend, Jenna’s wedding and then her sister, Laura’s wedding. Jenna, Laura and Laura’s now husband, Ivan, are all included in Claire and Glens bridal party. It made for such a fun day!

Claire was walked up the aisle under the mature pear arbour by her Mum before exchanging vows with Glen under the incredible elms. Staying at Carrick Hill for all of their portrait time, we wandered the grounds and took photos as we went. Staying at your ceremony/reception location for your wedding photos makes for a much more relaxed atmosphere for yourself and your guests. It’s all about having time together with your bridal party, getting a few gorgeous shots and then heading into your reception ready for a celebration!

Their gorgeous reception at Carrick Hill came to life with the help from the lovely Laura from Minty Mary Pea. After the speeches Claire and Glen had a dreamy first dance! Choreographed with the most impressive lift I’ve ever seen at a wedding to date!
