Laura and Ivan chose the gorgeous Currant Shed for their McLaren Vale wedding. I first met them both back when Laura’s sister Claire married Glen. Laura and Ivan were both in the wedding party so it was lovely to hear from them during their own wedding planning. Their April wedding at The Currant Shed was classic and relaxed, much like them as a couple and the day went smoothly and as planned. A traditional Chinese tea ceremony was performed after the wedding ceremony. It was a lovely touch to honour Ivans Chinese heritage. The sun sets earlier towards the middle of Autumn as we head closer to Winter. It provided us with a stunning orange hue over the vineyards just before their cocktail reception.
Golden Retriever, Hugo, had a starring role in the wedding ceremony. He was an absolute star and was as proud as punch to see his ‘parents’ wed . It’s no secret that I love dogs and Hugo’s impeccable behaviour had me scratching him behind the ears all day. The couple chose Kelly from the Found Collective to style and coordinate their wedding and it was beyond gorgeous especially at night with lights from Bulb Lighting illuminating the space.
Laura and Ivan, thank you once again for choosing me to be your wedding photographer. It was a pleasure to photograph your beautiful wedding. xx
