White Hill Estate Wedding | Jess & Nick

Nick and Jess chose the intimate and laid-back White Hill Estate in McLaren Vale for their rustic wedding. The property, surrounded by golden fields and dotted with historic buildings, is simply gorgeous. They both got ready on the property in the gorgeous White Hill Estate historic home. Downstairs in the cellar is where Nick and the groomsmen got ready. Jess dressed in her KWH dress from The Vintage Bride Boutique upstairs in the restored homestead. Mere metres separating their ceremony and the reception which meant they were relaxed and stress-free with. White Hill owners and staff ensured the day ran smoothly. The beautiful dam, complete with a sweet little rowboat was where they held their ceremony. At one stage the sheep crept into a few photos as they grazed at the edge of the dam which was so adorable!

They chose to have their engagement session a few months before their wedding at the Mt Lofty Botanic Gardens. Because of this I got to know them really well before their special day. It was also great practice for being in front of the camera.

Jess brought her creative and discerning eye (honed from her job as an architect) to their wedding reception style. Australian natives and blue gums featured in their beautiful palette for the florals by the talented Turquoise Rose. Lighting from Bulb Lighting and hire furniture from The Old Refinery decorated the rustic barn. The well-travelled couples favourite cities took the place of numbers on the tables, making it personalised and fun. The guests danced their night away to Cruse Entertainment.

Jess and Nick, it has been an absolute pleasure getting to know you both. xx
