Paxton Wines | Caitlyn & Sam

Caitlyn and Sam chose Paxton Wines for their happy and fun wedding. The couple married with the sun shining on the expansive lawns overlooking the valley view. Sophie, one of Caitlyns bridesmaids was isolating due to Covid. As a result, she instead had to feature on Facetime throughout the day. Due to being a Covid contact and potentially being infected I was also unable to attend and photograph their wedding. Fortunately I have a wonderful network of contacts that I can call upon for these scenarios. My lovely and talented friend Bridget Quain was however available to step in for me on the day and did an amazing job!

Bridget captured the groom and bride getting ready at nearby Moana and Aldinga Beach. Caitlyns son Jayden gave her away in the ceremony at Paxton Wines. Including key family members in their wedding makes a wedding so incredibly special. Organising a wedding almost single-handedly is a huge task. Sam works FIFO which made it difficult for him to be involved in the planning. Luckily Caitlyn did an amazing job and pulled off an incredible day.

Paxtons is a close and accessible wedding venue being close to McLaren Vale and the Southern suburbs. With beautiful outbuildings, a stunning view and delicious wines, it’s a beautiful venue to marry at.
