Howard Vineyard Wedding | Madeline & Matt

When I first met Maddie and Matt, I instantly loved them – incredibly sweet, fun and down-to-earth. They are so perfect for each other and I could see how in love they are. Howard Vineyard was the perfect location for their elegant rustic day.

Maddie got ready at her parents house where of course she had photos with her beloved pooch and then donned the sweetest (and twirliest) mid length wedding dress. Following the getting ready, I headed to to the ceremony. The vineyard has a beautiful relaxed feel, surrounded by sweeping lawns and gorgeous gardens. Maddie was walked down the aisle by both her parents, which was such a personal touch. Matt loves his cars, so of course the Ferraris they arrived in played a role in the day. The cars were positioned ‘only just’ behind the ceremony to please everyone, ha!

Following the ceremony we wandered the grounds for photos, stopping eventually at the beautiful rustic swing hanging amongst the gumtrees. It was here that the couple feasted on their much anticipated burgers that they had been raving about to me all day! The reception was held in the Howard Vineyard cellar door in a beautiful restored old barn. The colour palette of warm whites and green was simple and sophisticated.

It wasn’t until I photographed Natasha and Dylans wedding and was greeted by Maddie and Matt that I realised they are cousins. Coincidentally, they had both booked me for their weddings without the others knowledge! Adelaide is indeed a small world.
