Jane Marie + Daniel | Mount Gambier Wedding

This may be my favourite wedding dress purchase story ever – Jane walked into David Jones after work, bought her wedding dress off the rack and then went and had a beer with her friend to celebrate. Perfect!

Jane Marie and Daniel met when they were in high school in Mount Gambier. They travelled back to their hometown from Melbourne, where they now live, to marry. Being a graphic designer meant Jane had so many amazing ideas and a great sense of style for their day – their invitations and table decorations in particular were divine! Jane got ready at the beautiful Colhurst House before travelling to their ceremony at St Martins Lutheran Church in a Ford restored by her Grandfather especially for her wedding!

They chose to have portraits on Janes parents dairy farm at Wandilo which made for such a special location as Jane had spent her childhood there. It’s no secret that I love beautiful light and the few hours before sunset are my favourite. On Jane and Dan’s special day the sun set mere minutes before their reception thanks to daylight savings which meant they had glowy amazing light.
