Their Coonawarra wedding set amongst the vines was the perfect location for Stella and Matt to marry. With six bridesmaids, six groomsmen, three flower girls and a page boy their wedding was always going to be a big party! Stella picked a gorgeous colour palette of pale pinks and greys paired with the girls peony bouquets.
Their reception at Leconfield Winery was a knockout and it was the first wedding Leconfield had hosted. Stella, Matt, Videographer Rob and myself climbed the stairs to the top of the wine vat before the reception for some photos where we witnessed the sun setting over Coonawarra. It was a stunning way to finish the photo portion of the day before the party started!
Stella and her girls got ready at Punters Retreat accommodation. It is a glorious light filled space with views out to the vineyard in every direction.
Their ceremony was on a stunning purpose built pergola on a lake settled in a private vineyard.
The reception was incredible with the emphasis definitely on dancing! It happened to be the first birthday of Stellas niece, so her Nonno played the accordian, as per tradition. The guests all sang for the birthday girl, as the family danced around the most adorable birthday cake.
Later in the evening Stella and Matt performed a choreographed wedding dance with their bridal party. The mini Nutella bonbonnieres paved the way for a surprise for the guests – a Crepe cart arrived in time for dessert! The party continued and the dance floor pumping – I even witnessed the worm being performed!
Georgie and James also married in Coonawarra, see their wedding here.
