Akalia and Michael chose the historic Partridge House in Glenelg for their fun and vibrant wedding. The morning started with Michael and his groomsmen. They were remarkably relaxed and incredibly organised! Then onto the girls who had tunes playing and the Moet pouring! One thing about Akalia is that she radiates happiness and is always smiling or laughing, and in turn it makes everyone around her smile too.
Their ceremony at Partridge House was filled with love and emotion. The excitement and anticipation before Akalia walked down the aisle was evident. There were laughter and tears during the ceremony – hallmarks for a perfect ceremony!
For the bridal portraits the bridal party and I took the road less travelled. We walked from Partridge House down to the Glenelg foreshore, ducking down back alleys on the way. With the sun shining the beach was awash with people which is always entertaining – the public is never short on compliments for a new Mr and Mrs! A quick drink stop at The Moseley to mingle with the bridal party before they entered the reception.
Reception held at the Stamford Grand at Glenelg where the tables were so classy and simple in their beauty. During the evening the guests were treated with the most stunning sunset which was viewed by many on the balcony. Their wedding cake wasn’t cake at all – it was a stack of cheese wheels! The night ended with an epic dancefloor with some amazing moves!
Akalia and Michael, it has been a pleasure getting to know you both and being a part of your gorgeous day!
